Nashville Crime Laboratory
The Nashville Laboratory serves all 95 counties in Tennessee and performs a wide range of analyses within the following units:
- Drug Chemistry Unit
- Evidence Receiving Unit
- Firearms Identification Unit
- Latent Print Unit
- Microanalysis Unit
- Serology/DNA Unit including CODIS
- Toxicology Unit (Includes Blood Alcohol, Breath Alcohol and Toxicological Drug Screens)
- Violent Crime Response Team
Knoxville Regional Crime Laboratory
The Knoxville Laboratory opened in March of 2009 and serves 30 counties in the analysis of evidence in the units listed below:
- Drug Chemistry Unit
- Evidence Receiving Unit
- Serology/DNA Unit
- Toxicology Unit (Includes Blood Alcohol, Breath Alcohol and Toxicological Drug Screens)
- Violent Crime Response Team
Memphis Regional Crime Laboratory
The Memphis Regional Crime Laboratory opened in January of 2002 and serves 22 counties in Tennessee performing a wide range of analyses within the following units:
- Drug Chemistry Unit
- Evidence Receiving Unit
- Firearms Identification Unit
- Serology/DNA Unit
- Toxicology Unit (Includes Blood Alcohol, Breath Alcohol and Toxicological Drug Screens)
